Get treatment for all your mental healthcare needs.

Services

During the initial visit, I will ask about your current concerns,
as well as your medical, psychiatric, family, and social history,
to formulate an assessment and collaborate on a plan for treatment. The assessment may extend into a second session.

Initial Assessment

The cadence of medication management only visits will depend on symptom stability, medication type, whether we are adjusting dosages, and your preference. If we are actively adjusting medications, we may meet every 2-4 weeks. If symptoms and medications are stable, we may meet once every three months.

Additional Information

Insurance, Payment

At this time, I accept Aetna insurance in my practice. I otherwise do not accept insurance and am considered an out-of-network provider. However, many insurance companies will provide coverage for services rendered by a psychiatrist (usually 50-100%) after a deductible is met. Please check with your insurance company for specific benefits applicable to your plan and inquire about “out-of-network mental health coverage”. I am able to provide you with a superbill through the patient portal to submit to your insurance company.

Patient Eligibility

I am able to meet with adults located in Texas who are 18 years of age and older. I unfortunately am not able to accept patients with Medicare insurance.

Doctor-Patient Relationship

A doctor-patient relationship is formally established after the initial Zoom or in person assessment, during which we will cover your past and present symptoms and recommendations for treatment. If we are in agreement about the direction, the doctor-patient relationship is established. Our initial phone consultation and assessment does not establish or guarantee the relationship.

Emergency Services

I am unable to provide emergency psychiatric services through this practice. If you have a crisis or emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
